Conrad Enill is a senior Caribbean statesman, energy strategist, and financial sector leader with experience across public policy, executive leadership, and diplomatic engagement.
He recently served as High Commissioner of Trinidad and Tobago to Guyana, with concurrent accreditation to Suriname, placing him at the center of one of the world’s fastest evolving energy corridors. His work has focused on advancing investment, regional cooperation, and the development of emerging oil and gas economies, including engagement with Guyana’s transformation as a new global energy producer and the critical global challenge-how rapidly emerging producers can convert resource wealth into sustainable, diversified economic systems, while avoiding structural inefficiencies and governance risks.
Mr. Enill previously held senior government roles as:

Minister of Energy and Energy Industries

Minister in the Ministry of Finance, with responsibility for national budgets and economic policy

Governor to the IMF and World Bank, contributing to global financial governance

Member of the Gas Exporting Countries Forum (GECF) whose focus is on global gas market stability.

He has also held leadership positions across major institutions, including:
